Once upon a time, far-far away from the modern day troubles in the middle of Italian Tuscany there was a small castle of Verrazzano. A hilltop castle overlooking rolling hills of Tuscan vineyards, a castle tour, the Tuscan sun warming us from the outside, a tasting of Chianti wines warming us from within, a 5-course meal paired with these wines, a dining table filled with fellow travelers sharing stories of travel and of life. A blissful afternoon shared with others. And there it stood in the middle of backyard bathing in august sunlight. A beautiful lemon tree situated in a huge clay pot, with fat glossy leaves and a few ripe lemons. We were so happy there that I dared to capture the moment.
