MANEK - ANGEL CARAVAGGIO.
Amor Vincit Omnia - "Love Conquers All", is a painting by the Italian Baroque artist Caravaggio. The painting illustrates the line from the bible - "Love conquers all; let us all yield to love!". One can hardy recall the artist life as biblical story. He has died aged 38 and he has left lots of questions about where he stands. I tried to revisit the painting putting new ideas into the subject. My Amor does not look innocent at all - his sinister eyes are fool of treason. I called him Manek after one personage from my childhood.
